2011 Fright Box
It's my 2nd Halloween on ourWorld and the best yet... the trick or treat basket is really cute!

BIG gem offers and how-to-do. (For 150ish gems!)
There are two BIG gem offers coming to ourWorld... unfortunately they're for the UK only.
If you live in the UK... no problem.
If you don't... you just have to possess a few basic hacking skills. (For example, learning to change your browser settings.)
Addresses and Ports--
IP Address: 93.189.5.138 Port: 8080 OR
IP Address: 77.92.72.198 Port: 80 OR
IP Address: 80.193.72.145 Port: 80 OR
IP Address: 86.54.117.169 Port: 80
For Firefox
>>Tools or press ALT then click tools.
>>Advanced
>>.Settings
Then click on Manual Proxy Configuration, paste in a port and IP from above, and click OK.
See the last bit for when you're done.
For Chrome
>>Tools (wrench in upper right)
>>Options
In the window that pops up, Under the Hood. (tabs on the left)
>>Change Proxy Settings
Put an IP and its corresponding Port into the boxes and close it. See the last bit when you're done getting gems.
*CLOSE ALL INTERNET WINDOWS!!*
Reopen internet and Voila, you are now on a UK server.
To turn it off go back to the proxy settings window Wtih one click of OK, there you are back in your rightful country!

I'd hope you people have noticed the Resident triangle looks a bit old-fashioned. And ourWorld is set to update it, so rumour has it.

The Elite Noobs. Okay, so all the older people think "Maxine is an idiot" and the noobs think "Elite Noobs? Cool!!! I want in!!!!"
To make a long story short, it's my crew (well now it's my crew it used to be malorie's but she's obviously not a noob anymore.) And when the Queen Of Noobs becomes a Level 40 she will pass on the crew to another Elite Noob.

Earn Your OWN Gems
Hey, this is a quick peep for those who give out their Gambit or other gem-earning links. Of course it's nice when other people stand through the terror and get you gems, but did you know the links include your User ID?
Of course, giving away your User ID is always dangerous... especially on sites where it can be used for payment or to get into your account in emergencies. But even though ourWorld doesn't use it for that, if someone knows the right place to copy and paste into, you could get hacked.
So a notice to all y'all who didn't know that... remove those links from the forum signatures and earn your own gems. While videos are going play a PC game like Virtual Families or Diner Dash to pass the time if you don't wanna watch 'em. Just be safe!!
(And I know I sound really cheesy saying that but it's the truth and stuff.)

What Is Zoe's Club??
This is a very popular question coming from everyone who's seen the little silver star.
(FYI, it isn't silver, it's platinum, which is about thrice as rare.)

A New Type of Live Help Coming Soon...
I'm a Volunteer Helper as you may know, and we get access to the exclusive forums. Recently Live Help wa turned off and many of us were beginning to panic...
But now, our VFM (very fabulous moderator) Wylde solved that, we're getting a new kind of live help.
I'm not going to spill the Volunteer helper's end, if you're a Helper you can see it in the forum. But on the other end it may look like this.
I think this is an EXTREMELY cool picture, because not only is there the new Volunteer Helper thing, the Boardwalk is completely redesigned, and look at the top bar- Games icon is different, the Flow think looks more like the downWorld XP bar but shows your boost, and the Gems says "buy more here." The Flow circle is thinner & more futuristic. Chat says "type chat here." This will definitely be a less confusing ourWorld for the noobs.

Treasure Hunt coming soon!
Been to Enchantments recently? Then you've probably seen... IT.

THE MAGIC SHOVEL!!
According to some volunteer helpers who have ACTUALLY accessed "playtest*" the shovel costs gems but you can use it to dig up coins and flow. In the future, they will be making a shovel that allows you to dig up Mystery Boxes, Rares and even Super Rares.

Contests for Summer!
I've been asked to have some contests on this blog, so this is the first one. It's a photo/video contest. Make an ourWorld photo that describes your perception of summer. Upload it to your blog, a file hosting website, or the Picasa Web Albums and write your ourWorld name, the URL, and description in the comments!
Official rules:
-The photo must be from ourWorld and no editations can be made.(i have the ability to check your album)
-You must create this photo yourself and be in it. (i will check your album!)
-No inappropriate language or obscene images. (inappropriate language is anything that the chat filter throws out when you spell it correctly.)
There will be one winner of Grand Prize and they will get their item of choice gifted to them (as long as it's 30 gems or less.) They will also get their pictures featured in a short video entitled "Summer on ourWorld" and get to choose a song for background music.
There will be ten lesser prize winners who will also get their picture featured.
Also, if you would like to make a video clip to put into this contest, email it to us here. If we get any spam from you... we will kick you out of the contest and block you from seeing this Blog. Just don't be nasty and don't send any!
